Legal restrictions

To ensure compliance with legislation, CopyBet  has established certain legal restrictions that clients must adhere to:

• Age requirement

A user shall be at least 18 years of age.

• Preventing minors’ access to the platform

Minors are not allowed to create an account and use the company’s services. Parents and legal guardians may need to utilize filtering software to block specific internet resources (e.g. gambling platforms like CopyBet).

• Protection of profile

Profile owners must not permit any third parties to utilize their profiles for personal game or grant unauthorized access to the platform’s services, materials, or website information.

Account management

The platform offers 2 types of accounts for users to engage with the platform: regular account and sportsbook one. Both are automatically opened upon registration. One client is allowed to have only one profile. 

• CopyBet profile (follower)

Needed for gamblers to access the platform and copy bets from other users, including Tipsters. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the copying of bets from sportsbook accounts.

• CopyBet sportsbook account (Tipster)

Exclusively dedicated to Tipsters, allowing them to place bets and provide them for copying by the other users.

Blocking and suspension of accounts

CopyBet UK may block a profile and void all placed bets, including winnings, if any of the following conditions are met:

• Multiple profiles (one client has more than one account);
• Group scheme (several people use one account);
• Unauthorized payment details (one user’s financial information matches another user’s info).

It is not recommended for different clients to use the same IP address for placing bets to avoid suspicion of unfair gambling. It is also not allowed to sell, transfer, or acquire profiles from other punters.

Account closure

A user may close their profile at any moment. To do so, a client needs to send a request to the company’s support team at [email protected]. Note that some of the personal information shared with CopyBet may be stored in accordance with AML legislation.

Deposits

Clients must verify their profiles before depositing. 

The minimum deposit amount is 10 pounds.

The following deposit methods are available on the platform:

• Bank cards (Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, or Mastercard);
• Online payment services.

Clients must use their own personal payment details and are prohibited from utilizing options held by third parties or family members. Non-compliance may result in the cancellation of winnings and account closure.

CopyBet covers the commissions charged by payment systems for funds transfer. However, the company is not responsible for additional fees that may be imposed by the financial intermediaries.

Withdrawals

To withdraw funds, the profile must be verified. The company reserves the right to request additional documents to confirm account ownership in payment systems.

Additional commissions may be charged.

Withdrawals can only be made to the same payment system used for the deposit. The minimum amount available for a cash out is 1 pound. 

The company processed all withdrawal requests within 2 business days. If there are any suspicions of rule violations (e.g. multiple accounts, malicious software usage, improper use of promotions, and so on), CopyBet  may suspend payment operations for some period of time.
